ASIN turns Requiem into 98 tracks of Tokyo schranz punishment

ASIN’s Beats On The Curse arrives on 30 June from Requiem (98 Schranz Tracks), and the parenthetical is not kidding around. Ninety-eight tracks is less an album format than an endurance architecture, and the tags point toward electronic, hardcore, hardtechno, schranz, schranzcore and Tokyo. That tells you exactly what kind of room this belongs in: fast, severe, metallic, repetitive and deliberately punishing. Requiem is a dramatic title for a release built from such relentless machinery, but it fits. Hard techno at this scale can become a ritual of exhaustion, a funeral mass for subtlety where the kicks keep returning like an industrial prayer. Beats On The Curse sounds like one piece of a much larger hammering system. It is not asking whether you are comfortable. It is checking whether the floor is still there.
