London psychedelic-noise trio Citizen Above Suspicion have announced their forthcoming album As Above So Below, scheduled for February 26, 2027 through Fuzz Club. The announcement arrives alongside lead single "Failure" and its accompanying music video, introducing the group's latest exploration of distorted guitars, hypnotic repetition and atmospheric alternative rock.

Formed in Hackney in 2024, the band consists of guitarist Baptiste Bernon, drummer Ben France and bassist Julia Cadau. Their musical identity combines heavily saturated instrumentation with detached vocals and arrangements that emphasise texture as much as conventional melody. The forthcoming album follows their independently released split single Fear Your Tears / Atomic Dreams and represents a substantial expansion of the group's recorded catalogue.

Its nine compositions include "Skin Crawl", "Danger", "Failure", "Take The Blame", "I Don't Care Anymore", "New Suspicion", "As Above As Below", "The Death Of Innocence" and "I Can't Stand You (But I Wish I Was Like You)". The track titles suggest an interest in personal frustration, emotional uncertainty and the darker aspects of contemporary relationships. Citizen Above Suspicion also incorporate visual presentation into their creative identity, treating music videos and live performances as extensions of the recordings themselves.

Their partnership with Fuzz Club connects the group with an established independent label recognised for psychedelic and experimental guitar music. As Above So Below promises an appealing addition to London's increasingly diverse underground rock environment. Apparently the appropriate response to modern anxiety involves adding several layers of guitar distortion until the original problem becomes almost impossible to hear.
