Diaspora Calling! sharpens its 2026 UK shape with final additions announced on 3 July: Erykah Badu, Giggs, Fireboy DML and host Dave Chappelle. The one-day event, headlined by Ms. Lauryn Hill at Milton Keynes National Bowl on 7 August, is built around Hill's only confirmed UK performance of 2026 and a full performance of The Fugees' The Score with Wyclef Jean for the album's 30th anniversary. The completed programme stretches across neo-soul, UK rap, Afrobeats, family legacy and diaspora exchange, which gives the festival a broader purpose than simply assembling big names. It is a cultural bill as much as a music bill: African diaspora creativity, generational memory, food village, main stage and the complicated electricity of artists whose histories already carry entire scenes behind them.
