Dinosaur Jr. previews its forthcoming album There Near with 'Blowin’ Up', one of two songs on the record written by bassist Lou Barlow in indie rock.

Less frantic than the band’s most abrasive material, the single foregrounds melody while carrying a politically charged perspective beneath its accessible surface. It follows the earlier album preview 'Several Got Away'.
