DJ Koze returns with the seven-minute club spiral Spiralen

DJ Koze released Spiralen on 22 May, and the track remains a strong 23 May weekend-listening item for anyone following left-field club music. The seven-minute piece is the first half of an upcoming AA-side single due 12 June via Koze’s own Pampa label, with the flip side titled Wo’s Patric?!?

Koze has always been one of dance music’s great oddball architects, building tracks that can feel playful, hypnotic, sentimental and strange at the same time. Spiralen continues that reputation. The title already suggests movement without obvious resolution: circles, descent, ascent, repetition, a loop that refuses to sit still.
