Montreal singer-songwriter Helena Deland has announced her third full-length solo album, Eternity Shrugs, due January 22, 2027, via Chivi Chivi. The announcement is accompanied by "Tip of My Tongue", an understated and exquisitely crafted single capturing the delicate tension of an anticipated reunion with someone once deeply familiar.
Recorded in rural Quebec across four distinct seasons, the album reunites Deland with longtime collaborators Francis Ledoux and Alexandre Larin, alongside contributions from Lysandre Ménard and Cedric Martel. The songwriting builds on the introspective foundation of 2023's Goodnight Summerland, balancing acoustic fingerpicking with ambient keyboards and subtle percussion.
The album features newly confirmed songs including "My Wedding Cake", "Room", "Unconditional", and "Here on the Page", following September's introductory single "How Do You Like Me Now". Deland will embark on headline tour dates across Europe, the UK, and North America following the LP’s release.
