Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has revealed plans to launch a small clothing label called Homme Construction, extending his creative interests beyond music. The announcement follows his appearance at Paris Fashion Week, where he walked in a presentation by Belgian designer Ann Demeulemeester. Fellow alternative musicians Ethel Cain and Chelsea Wolfe also participated in the event, with Wolfe performing music during the presentation.

Homme subsequently discussed the experience and his fashion ambitions in an interview with GQ. Rather than planning an enormous commercial clothing operation, he describes Homme Construction as a relatively modest project inspired by family history, vintage clothing and pieces developed with collaborators in the spirit of alternative culture. The initial collection is expected to include custom jackets, a reinterpretation of an old-fashioned carpet bag and a limited selection of simpler items.
