Lael Neale has announced As Killers Do, arriving 20 November through her own Consensual Sound label.
New single 'Slip Away' is a haunted garage-rock track recorded with Neale's longtime collaborator Guy Blakeslee using a Tascam eight-track machine in her Echo Park kitchen.
Neale plays Omnichord while Blakeslee contributes guitar, giving the song the handmade immediacy that has become central to her work. The accompanying video consists of hand-animated images drawn from Neale's black-and-white paintings.
As Killers Do follows 2025's Altogether Stranger and will be supported by European and North American live dates extending into September.
