Emerging British outfit Marsy have announced their second EP, Miss Wave, scheduled for November 20 via Heavenly Recordings, previewed by the release of its infectious title track. The five-song set follows their acclaimed spring debut EP Magic.

Singer and guitarist Hannah Rodgers describes "Miss Wave" as a song written during a turbulent period of emotional overwhelm, serving as a reminder to resist impulsive reactions and let emotional storms pass. Rodgers notes that Nina Simone's "It Be's That Way Sometimes" lingered in her subconscious throughout the composition.

Having cut their teeth on prominent festival stages including The Great Escape, Green Man's Rising Stage, and Amsterdam's London Calling, Marsy are embarking on a fresh UK run, hitting Brighton's Mutations Festival on October 23, Leeds on October 24, and London's St Pancras Old Church on October 29.

Marsy's blend of English folk traditions and jagged art-rock guitars offers one of the most exciting new sounds in British independent music. Find more rising talent in our indie rock catalog and read the news archive.
