Midori Jaeger replants the cello and turns displacement into song

Midori Jaeger’s planted is not simply an EP preview; it feels like the opening paragraph of a very personal map. The London-based cellist has announced (Re)planted, due 26 August, as a direct companion to March’s (Un)planted. The concept draws a line between the cello and Jaeger’s own childhood movement between Japan and the UK, making the idea of being uprooted more than a metaphor.
