Mother launch The Stars Within like a post-hardcore flare in the dark

Mother’s The Stars Within arrives on 2 June with the kind of title that suggests both beauty and pressure. Released through Engineer Records and a network of independent labels, the album sits in the heavy but melodic space between alternative rock, indie rock, hardcore, post-hardcore and punk. That mix is exactly where this kind of music can become powerful: not just loud, but urgent; not just emotional, but physically charged. The record was written and performed by Mother, recorded at Raptor Studio in Vicenza and produced, mixed and mastered by Matteo ‘Ciube’ Tabacco, giving the project a proper independent-scene backbone.
