5 November 2026 – MUNA Announce Dancing On The Wall Deluxe Edition With Avalon Emerson, Romy and Arlo Parks Remixes

Los Angeles indie-pop trio MUNA have announced an expanded edition of their album Dancing On The Wall, scheduled for November 13 through Dead Oceans. The announcement arrives alongside a new remix of the title track by electronic musician and DJ Avalon Emerson. The original thirteen-track album was released in May and produced by MUNA member Naomi McPherson.

Its forthcoming deluxe edition introduces four remixes from Avalon Emerson, Romy, Arlo Parks and Porches, bringing together musicians whose creative approaches extend across electronic dance music, alternative pop and independent songwriting. MUNA have explained that they particularly appreciate remixes capable of revealing musical ideas that were less obvious within the original recording. Emerson's interpretation provides another perspective on the title track, demonstrating how rearranging familiar material can alter its emotional character without abandoning the underlying composition.

The announcement coincides with preparations for the group's European and British tour, including two performances at London's Eventim Apollo. A second London concert was added following strong demand, reflecting the band's continuing international growth. MUNA have developed a substantial audience through emotionally direct songwriting and polished electronic arrangements, frequently exploring relationships and identity without sacrificing accessible melodies.

The deluxe edition offers an opportunity to examine how their music functions within different production environments. Apparently one excellent pop song can sustain several entirely different musical personalities, particularly when the guest list includes some of contemporary electronic music's most inventive performers.
