British indie veterans Mystery Jets gave fans an unusually intimate preview of their forthcoming seventh album during an in-store performance at Vinilo in Southampton.
Opening with classic favourite “Serotonin,” the band premiered brand new material including title track “A Hole To See The Sky Through,” “Doomsday,” and “Soul River.”
Frontman Blaine Harrison introduced “Soul River” as a song exploring male vulnerability and friendship, creating one of the night’s most poignant highlights.
Closing the set with “Bubblegum” and “Two Doors Down,” the band celebrated twenty years since their debut Making Dens while looking boldly ahead.
