27 July 2026 – Pinky Beecroft Returns As A ‘Lonesome Wolf’

Australian songwriter Pinky Beecroft is back in focus with the solo album ‘Lonesome Wolf’, returning to recording after a long period in which his songwriting history remained closely associated with Machine Gun Fellatio and other Australian projects. The new chapter gives Beecroft room to reflect on ageing, creativity and the experience of writing without the protective chaos of a large band surrounding every idea.

His return arrives more than twenty-five years after an earlier major interview period, making the project feel like both continuation and reintroduction. Beecroft has always balanced wit, vulnerability and a slightly dangerous willingness to say the quiet part loudly. ‘Lonesome Wolf’ suggests those instincts remain intact, only now they have more space to wander.
