Pitchfork’s summer album map points toward weird pop, comeback guitars and nervous futures

Pitchfork’s 52 Most Anticipated Albums of Summer 2026 list arrives on 26 June and reads less like a calendar than a weather forecast for the next wave of listening. The feature points to a season that includes Alex Cameron’s Late to Set, Arab Strap’s Half-Told Tales, Phoebe Bridgers’ Lost Weekend, Nia Archives’ Emotional Junglist, Eartheater’s Heavenly Body, Ezra Collective’s Here Because of Hope and Open Mike Eagle and Kenny Segal’s Doomed!, among many others.
