Prisão make Nação sound like six tracks of Swedish-Portuguese garage-punk resistance

Prisão’s Nação arrives on 1 July with the kind of compact tracklist that makes punk feel direct again: Armas, Amar sem amarras, Aversão, Tudo para todos, Bombas por paz and Jaulas. The Sweden-based band’s release comes with Portuguese-language titles and vinyl plans through Adult Crash Records in Europe and Sorry State Records in the United States, giving the record a cross-border punk-circuit identity before the first riff even starts. Recorded by Mikael Moberg and mixed and mastered by Jonas Blakklodge, Nação sounds like a project built for speed, urgency and political heat. The titles translate into a world of weapons, aversion, cages, peace through bombs and everything for everyone. That is more than aesthetic anger. It is punk using simple words like blunt objects. Six tracks should be enough when each one knows where to swing.
