The band also played their recent album <em>More</em> in full, accompanied by a distinctly Pulp-like presentation in which Jarvis Cocker guided the audience through songs using slides, photographs and demo recordings.
There was even a cover of ABBA’s 'The Day Before You Came', because a straightforward anniversary concert would apparently have been too easy. 'Wickerman', originally released on <em>We Love Life</em>, remains one of Pulp’s most unusual long-form songs, transforming Sheffield geography, memory and mythology into a slowly unfolding piece of urban storytelling.
