q-Bit’s Digital Hedonism turns Armen Crew’s Cloud Assets 3 into a neon appetite problem

q-Bit’s Digital Hedonism appears on Armen Crew’s Cloud Assets 3, released on 2 July, and the title feels like a diagnosis of modern electronic life. Digital hedonism is what happens when pleasure becomes interface, when the rave, the scroll, the file and the body all start negotiating for the same attention span. Armen Crew’s France-based collective identity gives the release a social and alternative-system flavour, while Cloud Assets 3 suggests a compilation built like a storage drive for club impulses. q-Bit’s track title does much of the conceptual lifting, but that can be enough for electronic music. A good title sets the light in the room before the kick arrives. Digital Hedonism sounds like a track for late-night circuits, synthetic cravings and listeners who know the cloud is not weightless. It is just hiding the wires better.
