Philadelphia hardcore visionaries Soul Glo have dropped "Ppl Worried", a blistering collaborative single featuring Tunde Adebimpe, frontman of iconic art-rock outfit TV on the Radio. The incendiary track serves as the latest advance cut from their upcoming album NA I'M GON GRAB ALLAT, due January 15, 2027, on Epitaph Records.
Following their breakthrough 2022 masterpiece Diaspora Problems, Soul Glo double down on their genre-obliterating collision of chaotic hardcore punk, blistering hip-hop cadences, and left-field noise. "Ppl Worried" pivots around frontman Pierce Jordan's breathless lyrical dissection of destructive substance habits and the painful concern felt by friends and loved ones.
Adebimpe's vocal cameo brings a gripping art-punk dimension to the track, matching Jordan's visceral delivery without diluting the band's trademark sonic velocity. The forthcoming album also boasts appearances from Eugene Robinson (Oxbow), Colins Regisford (Mannequin Pussy), Tati Salazar (Commitment), and underground rap heavyweights MIKE and Bbymutha.
