14 July 2026 – Soundhood East London Maps Hackney’s Indie Circuit

Soundhood East London announces a two-day programme across Hackney venues in September, led by Honeyglaze, The Orchestra (For Now) and shoegaze trio thistle. The event will spread performances through spaces including Paper Dress Vintage, The Victoria and Hackney Style Council, combining established emerging acts with local showcases.

Rather than placing audiences in a giant field with a twenty-minute walk between stages, Soundhood uses the neighbourhood itself as part of the festival experience. That gives each performance a distinct setting while encouraging listeners to move through East London’s independent venue network. Smaller city festivals can create a stronger sense of discovery because the next favourite band may be playing above a pub rather than behind a giant sponsored arch. Soundhood’s line-up suggests two days of indie rock, post-punk and shoegaze supported by extremely detailed public-transport planning.
