Chicago art-rock and psych-pop group Street Dove have released "Crown of Flowers," the latest preview of their self-titled debut album, due October 16. The single arrives as the band move from local promise toward the considerably more exposing business of putting a first full-length into the world.

Street Dove's music occupies the useful territory between indie-rock structure and psychedelic looseness, allowing melody to remain visible while textures bloom around it.
