Swedish songwriter Kristian Matsson has announced a new The Tallest Man on Earth album, Just Beyond Endless Mountain, arriving 9 October through ANTI-.
The Swedish songwriter recorded the project after returning to Dalarna, the central Swedish region where he grew up, and reconnecting with traditional Swedish music and fiddle traditions he had previously kept at a distance.
New single 'Deliver Me From Trying' introduces that renewed sense of place while retaining the raw, expressive folk songwriting that has defined his career. Earlier single 'Colors' also appears on the eleven-track record.
An extensive autumn tour will take Matsson across North America following European festival and theatre appearances.
