Thao Nguyen has announced 'Show Me', her first album under the shortened THAO name and her first full-length project since Temple in 2020, releasing 30 October via Kill Rock Stars in art rock.
Its opening preview, 'Sick of the Times', features Tune-Yards and The Linda Lindas, bringing several generations of politically engaged independent music together for a propulsive art-rock protest song.
Self-produced by Nguyen with Tune-Yards members Merrill Garbus and Nate Brenner, the album also includes appearances from Neko Case on 'Catch As Catch Can' and Adrian Quesada on 'Nguyen Nguyen Lose Lose'.
