The Dahabibies turn Songs of a Forgotten World into punk-pop memory theatre

The Dahabibies’ Songs of a Forgotten World arrives on 18 June from Cologne with a title that sounds like someone found a dusty postcard under the floorboards and decided to plug in a guitar. Tagged around chanson pop, alternative pop, alternative rock and punk pop, the release sits in a pleasingly theatrical lane where melody, attitude and European oddness can all share one table.
