TYGAPAW gathers all power and turns techno into a liberation engine

TYGAPAW’s Together You Gather All Power Applied Worldwide arrives in the 18 June review cycle with a title that reads like both a command and a manifesto. The third album from the producer reportedly uses sprawling techno compositions, abrasive sound and unsettling textures to reckon with contemporary oppression while pushing toward a world of Black queer liberation. That is not light language, and the music does not sound designed for casual playlist politeness. Techno has always carried political memory in its circuitry, but TYGAPAW’s work makes that charge explicit. This is club music as pressure system: body music, resistance music, architecture for rage, grief and release. The best experimental electronic records do not merely decorate darkness. They build a room where survival can move. Together You Gather All Power Applied Worldwide sounds like one of those rooms, with the walls shaking for a reason.
