Australian jangle-pop veterans Up and Downs release 'Out Of Thin Air', their first new material in ten years and the opening preview of the forthcoming EP 'Radio Is Dead'. The song reconnects with the crystalline guitars, yearning melodies and paisley-coloured indie sound that made the band part of Sydney’s fertile late-eighties scene.
Rather than treating the return as a carefully preserved museum exhibit, Up and Downs sound fully alive, reflective and interested in continuing the conversation.
