Montreal singer-songwriter Alexandra Levy releases the end is a wave today under her Ada Lea moniker through Saddle Creek internationally and Next Door Records in Canada.
The seven-track project deliberately places recordings from different periods beside one another, including material connected to the sessions for when i paint my masterpiece and songs reaching much further back into Levy's development as a writer.
Lead single 'copycat' introduced a project concerned with friendship, memory and the strange ways older versions of ourselves coexist with the present.
