13 July 2026 – Babehoven Rebuild Through ‘Lasagna’

<a href="/tags/babehoven">Babehoven</a> announce their third studio album ‘I See Them, I See Me’, due on 18 September, alongside the video for lead single ‘Lasagna’. The fourteen-track record emerged while vocalist Maya Bon was recovering from paralysis of her right vocal cord, giving the album’s themes of closeness, fear and self-recognition a particularly difficult physical context. ‘Lasagna’ explores the claustrophobic side of intimacy: being so intertwined with another person that truly seeing them becomes almost impossible. The title may suggest a comforting family dinner, but emotionally this is more like discovering that every layer contains another complicated conversation.

Bon and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Albert expanded their usual creative circle for the album, working with several engineers and co-producers to widen the project’s sonic perspective. The result promises a record about bodies, relationships and identity made by artists who had to rediscover how the voice itself could function. Heavy material, yes, but the title still makes us hungry.
