14 July 2026 – Cold Gawd Find Heavy Bliss On ‘Grease’

California shoegaze group Cold Gawd announce the ‘Glory2’ EP and share ‘Grease’, a towering new track that combines dense guitar atmosphere with the physical impact of hardcore. The song moves between shimmering heaviness and a stomping conclusion, demonstrating how comfortably the band can place beauty and aggression inside the same amplifier.

‘Glory2’ will also include earlier single ‘Bomb Pop’ alongside four additional tracks recorded after extensive touring behind ‘I’ll Drown On This Earth’. That road experience appears to have sharpened the band’s confidence. ‘Grease’ sounds enormous without becoming shapeless, maintaining melody beneath every wave of distortion. Cold Gawd may technically belong to shoegaze, but this is not music made by musicians nervously examining their footwear. It has swagger, force and enough low-end pressure to encourage the shoes themselves to leave the building.
