Berlin-based producer and vocalist Dis Fig (Felicia Chen) has announced her second solo album, 'What To Make Of These Mortal Hands', arriving on 23 October through Thrill Jockey in industrial electronic composition.
The sixty-three-minute record follows her 2019 debut PURGE and subsequent collaborations with The Bug, The Body and Asian Dope Boys. Lead single 'The Account' features poet the wind between, establishing a ritualistic atmosphere.
Most of the record was recorded by Chen, with additional drums from The Body’s Lee Buford, bass from BIG|BRAVE’s Liam Andrews and vocals by LUηG. Distortion and layered electronics construct a womb-like, protective environment guided through distinct scenes.
