Faru lets Light in Still Air hover like meditation with a faint electrical pulse

Faru’s Still arrives on 27 June from Light in Still Air, and the title is almost comically committed to doing exactly what ambient music often promises and rarely earns. Stillness, in sound, is not the absence of movement. It is movement slowed until attention starts noticing the air around it. The Berlin artist tags the release around ambient, drone, electronica, meditation and relaxation, which places it in a spacious listening lane but not necessarily a passive one. The track was produced by Faru in 2026, with photo work also credited to the artist, giving the release a self-contained quality. Still sounds like a small electronic room where the listener can watch the dust hang in the light. It may be gentle, but gentle music can still be exacting when it asks you to stop rushing.
