Berlin-based musician Kimi Recor has released "Call To U," another preview of forthcoming debut solo album Applewater, arriving November 11 through Wandering Astray. Recor grew up in a forest in Bavaria and has participated in musical communities ranging from jungle and post-punk to hardcore. Her solo work takes a considerably quieter approach, exploring ambient composition, drones and meditative sound environments.
"Call To U" combines delicate harp playing with atmospheric electronic textures and vocals that seem to emerge gradually from the surrounding arrangement.
