British indie-folk singer-songwriter Fenne Lily has officially released her fourth studio album, Win Win, via Nettwerk. The LP completes a cycle of acclaimed advance singles that included "Uh Huh", "Thank You Sorry", "Sleeping", and recent highlight "Stranger Things".
Filmed along Washington state's tranquil Puget Sound, the music video for "Stranger Things" reflects the record's contemplative, pastoral mood. Inspired by a candid conversation with her father about the unpredictability of human affection and healing, Lily crafts songs that find genuine optimism on the far side of romantic disappointment.
Fenne Lily has long excelled at communicating intricate feelings through quiet, razor-sharp observations and warm acoustic picking rather than dramatic gestures. Win Win expands that mastery across eleven cohesive recordings, cementing her position among modern folk's finest practitioners.
Heartbreak is rarely straightforward, but Lily proves that personal growth can coexist with lingering sadness. Browse our folk and singer-songwriter section and stay up to date with our daily news.
