British singer-songwriter Fenne Lily has unveiled "Stranger Things", the final advance track from her anticipated fourth studio LP Win Win, arriving October 23 via Nettwerk. Known for her delicate fingerpicked guitar arrangements and precise lyrical observations, Lily delivers an intimate meditation on moving forward after heartbreak.
The song’s title originated during a conversation with Lily’s father regarding the unpredictability of human connection and the danger of treating every romantic parting as permanent tragedy. The music video, directed by Jolie M-A around Washington state's Puget Sound, frames the song's gentle acoustic beauty against misty coastal landscapes.
"Stranger Things" joins earlier album cuts "Uh Huh", "Thank You Sorry", and "Sleeping", forming a cohesive sonic portrait of healing and emotional independence. Lily's gift lies in making small, quiet observations resonate with profound emotional weight.
