Jane Remover has released "Beauty Sleep" through deadAir, delivering the first proper single under the Jane Remover name in a while after a typically hyperactive period of touring, festival appearances and music issued through projects including Leroy and Venturing. The track is almost aggressively unwilling to remain one thing.
Vulnerable melodic passages collide with frantic digital processing and bursts of maximalist electronic abrasion, giving "Beauty Sleep" the sensation of a pop song being rebuilt while it is already playing.
