Jogging House makes Live in the Backyard sound like sunlight through cheap electronics

Jogging House’s Live in the Backyard arrives on 24 June with a title that immediately softens the edges of electronic music. Backyards are informal spaces: half domestic, half open air, full of ordinary light and small noises that do not belong in pristine studios. Tagged as ambient electronic, instrumental, lo-fi and synthwave, the track seems designed to live in exactly that gentle in-between zone. The Frankfurt project’s music often thrives on warm repetition and modest textures, and Live in the Backyard sounds like another small exercise in making electronics feel human-sized.
