Jungle is preparing to release its fifth album, Sunshine, on 14 August through the group’s own Caiola Records in electronic pop.
Co-founder Tom McFarland characterises the record as a mellow and optimistic collection shaped by Brazilian musical influences. The album arrives as Jungle prepares for a 54-date international tour and continues expanding beyond audio into ambitious visual storytelling.
McFarland and childhood friend Josh Lloyd-Watson established the project before Lydia Kitto joined its central creative team in 2023. Founding Caiola Records in 2021 gave the musicians greater control over releases and videos, preserving a practical do-it-yourself outlook even as the group moved into arenas, platinum sales and major awards.
