Lido Pimienta announces Caribenya and shares Tóxica

Lido Pimienta has announced Caribenya, a new album due 17 July via ANTI Records, and shared the lead single Tóxica. The news is an important current item for 20 May because Pimienta remains one of the most original multidisciplinary voices working across experimental pop, orchestral writing, electronic music and Afro-Indigenous musical language.

Caribenya follows the groundwork of last year’s orchestral album La Belleza, but Pimienta frames this new project as less cerebral, more joyful and more collaborative.
