MANGABROS take Shivacrowblack for a ride through drone-rock engine smoke

MANGABROS’ Motorcycledeathsong (Hypercube Psychomania RMX) sounds exactly as overloaded as the title promises, which is very much part of the appeal. Released on 3 June from Shivacrowblack through Black Box Recordings, the track sits somewhere between drone, electronica, krautrock, post-rock and soundtrack music. That is a strong combination for a piece that feels less like a conventional song and more like a machine developing a religious problem. The Mexborough label world around it has a taste for strange titles and industrial imagination, and Motorcycledeathsong leans fully into that atmosphere. You can almost hear the wheels, static, smoke and repetition forming a private road movie with no hero and no clean destination. For fans of instrumental oddities, outsider electronics and long-form alternative textures, this is one of those Bandcamp finds that rewards curiosity over convenience.
