Dublin jazz-rock group Ollnóva have released A Glimpse of the System, a compact live album presented alongside a filmed performance from The Bunker.
Running roughly 17 minutes, the release contains three pieces drawn from the band’s album-in-progress Vistas of the System and uses the solar system as its conceptual map.
“Venusian Skies” evokes the heat and density of Venus, “Great Red Spot” turns toward the immense storm system of Jupiter, and “Oort Cloud Interlude” closes the set in uncanny territory.
