Leeds alternative-rock powerhouse Pulled Apart By Horses have announced their sixth studio album, Dopamine Hits, set to arrive on February 12, 2027, through their independent Damage Limited Records imprint. New single "Great White Lies" delivers an uncompromising first statement, originating as a raw rhythm-section jam between bass and drums before erupting into an abrasive, hook-laden guitar assault.
For the new album, the quartet reconnected with producer James Kenosha, a close collaborator from their formative breakthrough years, embracing an experimental ethos free from outside constraints. Frontman Tom Hudson and his bandmates have channelled parenthood, digital anxiety, aging, and interpersonal friction into ten intense tracks, featuring standout cuts including "Get It Together", "Dr. Ego", "Main Character", and "Stress Manifest".
The album announcement is accompanied by a run of British headline dates, offering audiences a direct taste of the new material in intimate club settings. Releasing independently through Damage Limited provides the musicians full control over their creative output and release strategy, following 2022's Reality Cheques with ferocious intent.
Anyone who has followed Pulled Apart By Horses over the past decade knows their trademark combination of unhinged distortion and infectious choruses is built for visceral live spaces. For more intense guitar music, explore our punk and alternative rock coverage.
