The Lemon Twigs release Look For Your Mind! on 8 May via Captured Tracks, continuing their run as one of modern guitar pop’s most devoted and detail-obsessed acts. Brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario have built a reputation on deeply crafted songs that draw from 1960s and 1970s pop-rock without becoming simple imitation.
This new album follows Everything Harmony and A Dream Is All We Know, and it again leans into ringing guitars, layered harmonies, vintage studio warmth and melodic ambition. But underneath the sweetness there is also an undercurrent of paranoia and suspicion, giving the record a sharper emotional edge.
The album was written, produced, engineered and mixed by the D’Addario brothers, with additional contributions from touring members and Eva Chambers of Tchotchke, who also worked on the visual presentation. Songs such as I Just Can’t Get Over Losing You, 2 or 3, Mean To Me and the title track suggest a band refining its old-school influences into something that can still feel alive in 2026.
