Scottish outfit The Snuts release ‘In Motion’, the opening track from their forthcoming fourth album ‘Joy In Short Moments’, due on 23 October. Frontman Jack Cochrane drew inspiration from the idea that healing and personal growth are never finished states but continuing movement. That thought becomes a warm, guitar-driven song about change, uncertainty and travelling through life beside somebody who makes the route feel less intimidating.
The track reconnects with the direct indie-rock sound that first built the Scottish quartet’s audience while allowing more reflective writing to take the wheel. ‘Joy In Short Moments’ follows three consecutive UK Top Three albums and continues the group’s independent chapter through their own Happy Artist Records.
