Berlin- and Lisbon-based art-pop musician ANIQO, the recording project of Anita Goß, has shared "Another Life", the final advance single from her upcoming studio album EARTH, LOVE AND VARIATIONS. The full LP arrives November 6 via independent label La Double Vie.
Following introductory singles "Time to Heal", "The Turn", and "I Know", "Another Life" was the initial composition Goß penned for the record. The song addresses the complex reality of coming to terms with the end of a transformative partnership while enduring love and tenderness remain, rejecting simple villain-and-victim narratives.
Goß frames the track as a movement through initial heartbreak toward peaceful acceptance, underscored by atmospheric synthesizers, cavernous percussion, and darkwave-influenced vocal melodies. Her philosophical approach to pop songcraft makes "Another Life" an evocative highlight of her discography.
