London songwriter and model flowerovlove will release her debut album, 'MINI SKIRT WARRIOR', on 28 August through Capitol Records in alt-pop.
The announcement arrives with 'KISS KISS KISS', a bright romantic single accompanied by a self-directed video built around an extended kissing scene. The album’s title refers to an alter ego who uses style as emotional armour while moving from girlhood into adulthood. Across the record, flowerovlove explores first love, heartbreak, identity and youth.
She worked closely with Skyler Stonestreet and producer Pom Pom, while Amy Allen, Steph Jones, Steve Mac and her brother Wilfred Cissé also contributed. Previously released tracks 'In My Victoria’s Secret' and 'American Wedding' will appear on the album.
