Green & Blue let Air we breath drift through Belfast’s odd little folk-electronic weather

Green & Blue’s Air we breath lands on 13 June with the kind of lowercase looseness that immediately suggests this is not music trying to impress a committee. The Belfast project moves through alternative, electronic, ambient, folk and lo-fi territory, creating a six-track release that feels hand-made and slightly sideways. Titles like Look where ive found you/dream on sleepy soldier, kentucky fried greg and Mitache (Matcha) give the record a playful, peculiar personality before the sound even settles. That matters because lo-fi music often succeeds by making the listener feel invited into a private room. Air we breath seems to operate exactly there: gentle, odd, not overly polished and more interested in atmosphere than grand declaration. It is a small independent release, but one with enough strange charm to make the day’s digest breathe differently.
