Tokyo alternative-rock and post-hardcore outfit Survive Said The Prophet have announced their first Australian headline tour for February 2027. The three-date run visits Melbourne's Corner Hotel on February 25, Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on February 26 and Brisbane's Crowbar on February 27, marking their long-awaited debut in alternative rock and metal circles down under.

Known to Japanese audiences as Sabapuro, the band have spent approximately fifteen years combining heavy guitar riffs with electronic elements, hip-hop textures and powerful bilingual melodies led by vocalist Yosh. Many overseas listeners first encountered the band through "Mukanjyo," the celebrated opening theme for anime series Vinland Saga, but their extensive catalogue extends far beyond anime soundtracks.

Their 2025 album Luv Sux Sessions included collaborations with Matt Good of From First To Last and Ryo Kinoshita of Knosis, while more recent tracks feature Masato and Jean-Ken Johnny of MAN WITH A MISSION. Choosing intimate venue spaces like the Corner Hotel and Oxford Art Factory rather than large festival halls ensures their debut will deliver the high-impact communal energy the band is renowned for. Fifteen years has been a long wait, but Australian fans can finally celebrate.
