Melbourne-born, London-based electronic artist SWIM has announced his biggest Australian headline tour yet, scheduled for January and February 2027. The five-city run will combine electronic production with full orchestral performances in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, followed by standalone live shows in Perth and Adelaide, expanding the boundaries of cinematic electronic music.
SWIM, whose real name is Hamish Lefevre, has developed a distinctive approach to emotionally driven dance music, blending introspective songwriting with cinematic arrangements and club-focused rhythms. His second album Dear Friend reached number one on Australia's dance albums chart and number five on the overall Australian albums chart, following the acclaim of independently released debut In Circles.
The new tour expands on an earlier sold-out Sydney Opera House performance featuring a fourteen-piece orchestra, encouraging SWIM to scale the concept into a full arena-level presentation with expanded orchestration and synchronised visual production. The run begins at Sydney's Carriageworks on January 30 before visiting Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide, demonstrating how modern electronic artists can transcend the DJ booth without losing dancefloor energy.
