Dutch pop project Tatsu & Lyov have introduced "Sparkle all the Way", a new seasonal release that continues the duo's imaginative approach to music and its unmistakably feline sense of humour. Released on October 30, 2026 through Catastic Music, the project is a two-track single featuring the title song alongside "Happy New Meow Year".
"Sparkle all the Way" runs for two minutes and fifty-one seconds, while its companion recording lasts two minutes and fifty-six seconds. Together, the songs provide a compact seasonal addition to a catalogue already built around cheerful pop concepts, dance-oriented releases and recurring cat-themed characters. Based in Eindhoven, Tatsu & Lyov have developed a distinctive identity influenced by exuberant pop traditions, with artists such as Aqua, Vengaboys and Mariah Carey named among their musical favourites.
Earlier recordings include Haunted Dance, August Love, Silent Goodbye, Summertime and The Pawty Album, while projects such as Catsylvania and Count Catula demonstrate their enjoyment of playful seasonal themes. Their catalogue also includes the celebratory Be Proud EP and the friendship-focused #BBF4A collection. The duo have also followed "Sparkle all the Way" with another single, "Tokyo Tail-Spin", released on November 6.
Apparently the approaching holiday season now comes with an additional requirement: making sure the cats receive an invitation to the party. Browse more cheerful pop creations in our indie pop hub and follow daily music updates in our news section.
