American power-pop musician Joe Glass has released "outontouragain", an energetic new track celebrating the chaotic romance of life on the road, featured on the expanded reissue of his album Snakewards. The deluxe collection arrives November 13 through Perennial, an imprint of historic indie label K Records.
Glass, also recognised for his work with indie-rock outfit Sharp Pins, pairs bright jangling guitars with anthemic vocal hooks. The buoyant single is accompanied by a charmingly DIY music video co-directed by Grace Conrad, Owen Vaughan, and Glass.
Following the quiet acoustic warmth of earlier preview "It's No Wonder", "outontouragain" highlights Glass's gift for vintage power-pop melodies free of tired nostalgia.
The expanded edition features multiple unreleased tracks and alternate mixes. Read more guitar-pop features in our news archive.
